New hats

The hats shown here were special order requests and are my latest creations. They were requested by a very special and lovely customer in Canada. They are handknitted by me with two strands of yarn for extra thickness and warmth.

This lovely color combination of bright pink and a dark chocolate brown looks so yummy with varigated size stripes.

The Rainbow Beanie with white trim can be made with most color combos of your choice. Send a note to my etsy shop for any questions or color combos you might like to have

Ahh, a nice glass of burgandy wine will warm you up during the colder evenings along with the warmth you'll get from wearing this hat. I made another with a matching pair of fingerless gloves which are sold separately

This would make a great favorite team hat, especially since it's football season or have it made especially for you in your school colors

Release of Monarchs and some other pics

Yesterday I released one, today two. It is so amazing to watch the process and when they break out of the chrysalis and crawl onto my fingertip to freedom. Here are a few of my pictures
AND
a few others around my garden

Project sweater complete

Tell me what you think. I usually work on several knit projects at the same time. Most often I try to have a plan. Sometimes the plans or ideas don't work out as you thought. In this case, as I proceeded I felt something was missing. Then I added a border trim to the contrasting grey/black/silver mohair. Yes that was it! I am very pleased on the finished product. I always love opinions. So tell me what you think.
